Curriculum Leader

Kirra brings over 15 years of teaching experience and a deep passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive through movement. She began her career as a classroom teacher, teaching students in grades K–2, where she built a strong foundation in child development, literacy, and early math instruction.

Kirra was trained in the Early Learner Fitness program, an innovative approach that integrates reading, writing, and math with physical activity for Pre-K through 2nd grade students. Through movement-based lessons, she supports the development of motor skills, fitness, and whole-brain learning. It was through this work that Kirra discovered her love for teaching children how to move, inspiring her to earn her Physical Education certification—a role she has proudly served in ever since.

Her leadership and excellence in teaching have been recognized at the state level. Kirra was named SHAPE Washington Elementary Teacher of the Year and has also coached with Kong Academy, bringing high-energy, skill-focused instruction to youth programs. She has a strong background in social-emotional learning (SEL) and intentionally weaves self-regulation, teamwork, empathy, and confidence-building into all of her work with children.

As Curriculum Lead for Game On! Kids Camp, Kirra supports staff training, mentors counselors, and provides hands-on leadership throughout the camp day. She helps ensure campers are safe, engaged, and supported while fostering a positive camp culture rooted in connection, movement, and fun.

Outside of camp, Kirra enjoys staying active, continuing to learn, and finding creative ways to help kids build confidence and joy through movement.
